"Lakefield Singers" were originally "Women of Note". Our name changed to reflect the choir's wish to include all members of the community . Singers come from across Peterborough County; you do do not have to be a resident of Lakefield/Selwyn to join. Currently we host free in-house concerts at the final practice of each term. Family and friends are invited to sing along with us and join the party which follows. No formal dress required !

Choir Director: Linda Clark
Linda has been leading us since our beginning. She is a lot of fun to work with and brings us a broad range of music to sing. Linda plays a mean keyboard too! She is the band leader for Peterborough English Country Dancers and directs Resonance, the "other choir" at the Unitarian Church in Peterborough.
